While the draw for many may be the multiplayer aspect, those who want to go solo will be pleased to know single-player isn't an afterthought. Audiences got their first look at multiplayer, but also the compelling single-player story mode that stars new faces from the Empire who are dealing with the aftermath of their defeat in Return of the Jedi. When Star Wars Battlefront 2 premiered at E3 2017, it was a major focus for EA and served as the final segment for the company's event. For a good look at what's available for testers, EA and DICE released a beta trailer earlier this week.
Those who want to play the beta without a pre-order will have to wait until this Friday, October 6, when the beta opens up to everyone. Keep in mind that you'll only be able to download if the main game has been pre-ordered.
